More Information about Your PPHfarm donkey

Our goal here at Poole's Paradise Hill farm is to produce happy, healthy
and well-mannered donkeys with good confirmation.

Looking for a pet? Show quality? Breeding stock? We think
you will be happy with our offerings.

It is important to us that we place our donkeys in homes where they will
receive daily attention, regular vaccinations; worming; farrier care and
proper feed and nutrition.

Although miniature donkeys get along with goats, alpacas, sheep, and horses, they
are not "donkey happy" without their donkey buddy. Donkeys do require room to
play, and a shelter from the weather. We will not sell a donkey unless
these minimum requirements can be met.

All donkeys sold at Poole's Paradise Hill Farm are registered
Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys
and come with lots of love to give!

ask - if I don't have it, I am sure I know someone that does.

Destiny came to us several years ago as a rescue and in poor condition. It was my thought that I would be able to turn right around and sell her to a loving home. It took about
18 months to get Destiny "fat & sassy" and by then we had fallen so in love with her awesome personality that we had to get at least one baby from her to pass along her wonderful traits.

She is so great with kids. This picture is our granddaughter (5 years at the time) who
took Destiny with her everywhere on the farm!

Destiny is great with the farrier, and up-to-date on worming & vaccinations.

This is really hard to see - it's a screen capture from our cam's so the quality is not good. But 30 minutes
after we let Loretta and her foal outside for the first time, he fell in her food bucket! Then laid
there for about 3 minutes just as calm as he could be! What other name could he have?

It had to be! After watching Katie go round and round....and round all day - how could this little man not be nicknamed after the 100th anniversary of the Indy-500 that took place on the day of his birth. So we had a nickname - but what should his official name be?? Marestare Watcher, "Double M Reiners", offered up PPHFarm's Hot Laps! Perfecto! Thank you for the perfect name!

Indy is built solid, heavy boned like Katie and has the beautiful personality of the Windcrest Little Red Man line! Love him! Most of our babies are sold as pets however, as Indy continues to fill out, we are excited to see the quality of his confirmation and would like to offer this handsome little man as a future herdsire/show quality animal.
